Founded in 1997 by a group of musicians and producers, Lilith is the biggest creative cooperative in Finland today. We have 470+ owner-members across the country with a turnover 3M+ €. Our members work widely around the world throughout the creative fields – music, film & TV, graphic design, arts & crafts, writing, journalism, translation, comics, and even well-being. In addition, we are a production and publishing house, with many of Finland’s top artists on board.
"Made for sharing"
At the core of our business model are the multiple talents of our members, whom we employ to work for our clients to help them to achieve their goals.
We take great pride in cherishing our values – independence, communality, quality and ethicalness – defined collectively by our members. Meet our members
Our way of working
The cooperative form of working has many benefits. It electrifies people to learn from each other, encourages sharing and trust, and builds a sustainable working culture where everyone is an equal member in terms of social protection.
Lilith tackles real employment issues by providing a safe and secure work environment and a place to concentrate on the multitude of professions and skills. When our members work on a project, they are employed by the cooperative for a shorter or longer term contract while we carry the responsibilities of the employer.
We are currently focusing on internal concepts for easy collaborations, shared projects and joint communications, along with taking part in the international movement of cooperatives for a better future. >> Read more on Finnish working cooperatives
